Tom Reifel
Founder and President
Tom Reifel is Founder and President of The Finishing Department at Reifel Industries. Tom began his career at 18 years old as a Co-Op student at the General Motors Institute of Technology. After 5 years with General Motors Tom moved to Arizona and worked as an engineer at Motorola’s Government Electronics Division. Later he earned an MBA at Arizona State University, moved to Dallas and worked as a Senior Management Consultant at Touche Ross & Co. In 1984 Tom decided to test his entrepreneurial skills and started Reifel Industries.

I am the vice president of sales and have been with the company 37 years. I am responsible for developing new customers and presenting new opportunities to our team. Along with sales I am active in researching and developing new products and processes. We as a company are constantly striving to improve processes and plant efficiencies.

Katie Wells
Human Resources Manager

Katie has been with Reifel Industries in the Human Resources roll since 2011. She is a Certified Human Resources Professional through the Society of Human Resources (SHRM-CP), she has her bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University and Master’s Degree from Walden University. Katie is responsible for all benefits administration, Worker’s Compensation administration, Retirement Plan administration, as well time card support. Katie has been very involved in the community which includes sitting on the board as the 2nd VP for the Williams County Economic Development Corporation (WEDCO), the Secretary for the Pioneer Chamber of Commerce and board member for the Northwest State Community College Foundation Board.

Plant Manager

Matt Frizzell is the Plant Manager of The Finishing Department at Reifel Industries. Matt has more than 20 years of experience in the coating industry. He began his career in coating at the age of 22, working at a materials laboratory evaluating the corrosion resistance of automotive paints.  He joined The Finishing Department at Reifel Industries in 2014 as Quality Manager and was promoted to Plant Manager in 2018. Matt’s vision for the future is the continual improvement of service, delivery, and quality, ensuring The Finishing Department at Reifel Industries remains a best-in-class supplier.

Marty Lewis
Quality Manager

Marty Lewis uses a hands on approach for Quality and Continuous improvement with over 30 years experience. Marty has been with The Finishing Department at Reifel Industries for 2 years.  Past positions include Quality Manager at AAA Sales and Engineering, Quality Supervisor at Gestamp Manufacturing, Quality Engineer/CMM Supervisor at Martinrea, Metrologist at Pullman Industries, and a Quality Engineering Technician at Tenneco Automotive. Marty is also a veteran of 10 years  for the US Navy.

Josh Black
Production Manager

Joshua Black- Production Manager at The Finishing Department @ Reifel Industries. Josh has been with the company since 2008 and has worked in many areas all around the shop. Josh’s experience has helped to bring different areas of the company closer together and enabled them to work hand in hand as one large team. Josh’s role at the company is to maintain customer relations and manage overall e-coat production of our fully coated and partially coated e-coat lines. Josh is a self-motivated and results oriented leader who is focused on continual improvement through creating and standardizing procedures as well as maintaining excellent relationships with our customers and those within our company. By staying informed of the day to day demands, Josh brings a structured and organized atmosphere to the shop floor.

Our central midwest location and 200,000 square foot facility allows us a distinct advantage to our customers in the tri-state area with cost effective shipping and reduced turnaround time. We can provide pick-up and delivery service for our customers in the Tri-state area.

To reach our location from the Ohio Turnpike use Exit 13 (Bryan-Montpelier) and head north on State Route 15. Pioneer is approximately 4 miles north. Cross State Route 20 and when you get into Pioneer, turn right (East. Baubice St.) at the stop light in town. Clark St. and Ohio St. are approximately 4 blocks on the left side.

Coming from the north , Michigan State Route 99 turns into Ohio State Route 15 at the Ohio Line. Go 1 mile to Pioneer and turn left at the stop light (East Baubice St.) and Clark St. and Ohio St. are approximately 4 blocks on the left side.
